Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
भीष्म उवाच साधोर्य: प्रतिगृह्लीयात् तथैवासाधुतो द्विज: । गुणवत्यल्पदोष: स्यान्निर्गुणे तु निमज्जति
bhīṣma uvāca sādhoryaḥ pratigṛhṇīyāt tathaivāsādhuto dvijaḥ | guṇavaty alpadoṣaḥ syān nirguṇe tu nimajjati ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—राजन्! द्विज ब्राह्मण साधूपासूनही दान स्वीकारो वा असाधूपासूनही, गुणी पुरुषाकडून घेणे अल्प दोषाचे; पण निर्गुण-दुर्गुणी कडून घेणारा पापात बुडतो.
