Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
वृषादर्भिप्रयुक्तैषा निहता मे तपोधना: । दुष्टा हिंस्थादियं पापा युष्मान् प्रत्यग्निसम्भवा
vṛṣādarbhiprayuktaiṣā nihatā me tapodhanāḥ | duṣṭā hiṃsthād iyaṃ pāpā yuṣmān pratyagnisambhavā ||
शुनःसख म्हणाला—वृष व दर्भ-तृण यांच्या प्रयोगाने हिने माझे तपोधन, कठोर साधनेने मिळविलेले पुण्य नष्ट केले आहे. अग्निजा ही दुष्टा, हिंस्र व पापिणी आहे; हिने मला पीडा दिली असून तिचा द्वेष तुमच्याविरुद्धही आहे.
