The Duty to Fulfill Promised Gifts
न हर्तव्यं विप्रधन क्षन्तव्यं तेषु नित्यश: । बालाश्व नावमन्तव्या दरिद्रा: कृपणा अपि
na hartavyaṃ vipradhanaṃ kṣantavyaṃ teṣu nityaśaḥ | bālāś ca nāvamantavyā daridrāḥ kṛpaṇā api ||
ब्राह्मणांचे धन कधीही चोरू नये. ते अपराधी ठरले तरीही त्यांच्या प्रति नेहमी क्षमाभाव ठेवावा. ते बालक असोत, दरिद्री असोत किंवा दीन असोत—तरीही त्यांचा अवमान करू नये.
