Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
तदपत्यं हि युवयोर्देवानभिभवेद् ध्रुवम् । नहि ते पृथिवी देवी न च द्यौर्न दिवं विभो
tadapatyaṃ hi yuvayor devān abhibhaved dhruvam | nahi te pṛthivī devī na ca dyaur na divaṃ vibho |
तुमच्या दोघांपासून जो पुत्र उत्पन्न होईल तो निश्चयच देवांनाही पराभूत करील. प्रभो! आमचा दृढ विश्वास आहे की ना पृथ्वीदेवी, ना आकाश, ना स्वर्ग—कोणीही तुमचे तेज धारण करू शकणार नाही. हे सर्व मिळूनही त्या तेजाला पेलू शकत नाहीत. तुमच्या तेजाच्या प्रभावाने हे सारे जग भस्म होईल.
