Strī-satkāra (On honoring women) — Mahābhārata 13.46
तथैव हि भवेयुस्ते लोका: पापकृतो यथा । कृत्वा नाचक्षत: कर्म मम तच्च यथाकृतम्
tathaiva hi bhaveyus te lokāḥ pāpakṛto yathā | kṛtvā nācakṣataḥ karma mama tac ca yathākṛtam |
विपुल म्हणाला—पापाचार्यांना जे लोक मिळतात, तेच लोक तुलाही मिळोत. कारण माझ्या पत्नीचे रक्षण करताना तू जे कर्म केलेस, ते करूनही मला सांगितले नाहीस; म्हणून तुझी गतीही पाप्यांच्या लोकांकडे होऊ शकली असती.
