Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
भीष्म उवाच दैवं पौर्वाह्निकं कुर्यादपराह्ने तु पैतृकम् मड़लाचारसम्पन्न: कृतशौच: प्रयत्नवान्
bhīṣma uvāca: daivaṃ paurvāhṇikaṃ kuryād aparāhṇe tu paitṛkam | maṅgalācāra-sampannaḥ kṛtaśaucaḥ prayatnavān ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—राजन्! पूर्वाह्नात देवसंबंधी कर्म व दान करावे आणि अपराह्नात पितृसंबंधी कर्म व दान करावे. स्नानादि करून शुद्ध होऊन, मांगलिक आचारांनी युक्त व प्रयत्नशील राहून हे सर्व करावे.
