Marks of a Worthy Recipient and Stable Criteria of Dharma
(अविश्वासान्न व्यसनी नातिसक्तो5प्रवासक: । विद्वान् सुशील: पुरुष: सदार: सुखमश्षुते ।।
aviśvāsān na vyasanī nātisakto 'pravāsakaḥ | vidvān suśīlaḥ puruṣaḥ sadāraḥ sukham aśnute ||
“जो पुरुष सावध अविश्वासामुळे व्यसनात पडत नाही, अति आसक्त होत नाही, परदेशी राहत नाही, आणि जो विद्वान व सुशील आहे—तोच पत्नीसमवेत राहून सुख भोगतो. आज ब्रह्मदेव आणि इंद्रासहित सर्व देव तुमच्यावर प्रसन्न आहेत. भगवन् द्विजश्रेष्ठ! ज्या कार्यासाठी तुम्ही येथे आला आहात ते सिद्ध झाले. त्या कन्येच्या पित्याने—वदान्य ऋषींनी—मला तुम्हाला उपदेश देण्यासाठी पाठवले होते; ते मी करून टाकले.”
