वासुदेवस्तदोवाच पुनर्मतिमतां वर: । सुवर्णाक्षो महादेवस्तपसा तोषितो मया
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
vāsudevas tadovāca punar matimatāṁ varaḥ |
suvarṇākṣo mahādevas tapasā toṣito mayā ||
तेव्हा बुद्धिमानांमध्ये श्रेष्ठ वासुदेव पुन्हा म्हणाले—“मी माझ्या तपस्येने सुवर्ण-नेत्र असलेल्या महादेवांना संतुष्ट केले.”
