अजश्च बहुरूपश्च गन्धधारी कपर्द्यपि । ऊर्ध्वरेता ऊर्ध्वलिड्र ऊर्ध्शायी नभःस्थल:
ajaś ca bahurūpaś ca gandhadhārī kapardy api | ūrdhvaretā ūrdhvaliḍra ūrdhvaśāyī nabhaḥsthalaḥ ||
वायुदेव म्हणाले—तो अजन्मा व बहुरूपी आहे; सुगंध धारण करणारा आणि जटाधारीही आहे. त्याची प्राणशक्ती ऊर्ध्वगामी आहे; तो ऊर्ध्व, परात्पर भावात विचरतो व स्थित राहतो; आणि आकाशाच्या विस्तारात शयन करतो.
