प्रयत्नं कृतवन्तो5पि दृश्यन्ते ह्फला नरा: । मार्गत्यायशतैरर्थानमार्गश्वापर: सुखी
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | prayatnaṃ kṛtavanto 'pi dṛśyante hy aphalā narāḥ | mārgatyāyaśatair arthān amārgaś cāparaḥ sukhī ||
युधिष्ठिर म्हणाला— प्रयत्न करूनही काही मनुष्य निष्फळ दिसतात. कोणी शेकडो धर्म्य उपायांनी धन शोधत राहतो, आणि कोणी कुमार्गाने चालूनही धनामुळे सुखी भासतो.
