पद्मनाभो5रविन्दाक्ष: पद्मगर्भ: शरीरभृत् । महर्द्धिर््रद्धो वृद्धात्मा महाक्षो गरुडध्वज:
bhīṣma uvāca | padmanābho 'ravindākṣaḥ padmagarbhaḥ śarīrabhṛt | maharddhir ṛddho vṛddhātmā mahākṣo garuḍadhvajaḥ ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—तो पद्मनाभ; अरविंदाक्ष, कमलनेत्र; पद्मगर्भ, हृदयकमलात ध्यानास योग्य; आणि शरीरभृत्, देहधाऱ्यांचा पोषक। तो महान् ऐश्वर्ययुक्त, सर्वोत्कृष्ट, पुरातन आत्मा, विशाल नेत्रांचा, आणि गरुडध्वजधारी—या नामांनी प्रभूची स्तुती होते।
