Śiva-darśana through Tapas and Stuti (उपमन्यु–कृष्ण संवादः)
उमोवाच एवं भविष्यत्यमरप्रभाव नाहं मृषा जातु वदे कदाचित् | भार्यासहस्राणि च षोडशैव तासु प्रियत्वं च तथाक्षयं च
umovāca—evaṁ bhaviṣyaty amaraprabhāva nāhaṁ mṛṣā jātu vade kadācit | bhāryāsahasrāṇi ca ṣoḍaśaiva tāsu priyatvaṁ ca tathākṣayaṁ ca ||
उमा म्हणाल्या—“अमरांसारख्या प्रभावशाली हे कृष्णा! तसेच होईल. मी कधीही असत्य बोलत नाही. तुला सोळा हजार पत्नी असतील; त्यांच्यात तुझ्याविषयीचे प्रेम अक्षय राहील आणि तुझी समृद्धीही अव्यय राहील.”
