Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
चारुदेष्ण: सुचारुश्ष चारुवेशो यशोधर: । चारुश्रवाश्लारुयशा: प्रद्युम्न: शम्भुरेव च
Cārudeṣṇaḥ sucāruś ca cāruveśo yaśodharaḥ | Cāruśravāś cāruyaśāḥ pradyumnaḥ śambhur eva ca ||
हे मधुसूदन! चारुदेष्ण, सुचारु, चारुवेश, यशोधर, चारुश्रवा, चारुयशा, प्रद्युम्न आणि शम्भु—हे माझे पुण्यवान, शूर व सुंदर पराक्रमी पुत्र आहेत. जसे रुक्मिणीच्या गर्भातून तू हे पुत्र दिलेस, तसेच मला देखील पुत्र प्रदान कर.
