वैमनस्यं च देवानां कृतं भवति पुष्कलम् | पावकश्च महातेजा हव्यं न प्रतिगृह्नति
vaimanasyaṃ ca devānāṃ kṛtaṃ bhavati puṣkalam | pāvakaś ca mahātejā havyaṃ na pratigṛhṇati ||
देवांमध्ये त्याच्याविषयी प्रचंड वैमनस्य उत्पन्न होते आणि महातेजस्वी पावकही त्याने अर्पण केलेले हविष्य स्वीकारत नाही।
