यदन्नं नाभिजानाति यद् भोज्यं नाभिनन्दति । भक्ष्यं वा यदि वा लेहां तत्सव॑ वर्जयाम्यहम्
yad annaṃ nābhijānāti yad bhojyaṃ nābhinandati | bhakṣyaṃ vā yadi vā lehyaṃ tat sarvaṃ varjayāmy aham ||
माझे स्वामी जे अन्न स्वीकारण्यास योग्य मानत नसत आणि जे भक्ष्य, भोज्य किंवा लेह्य पदार्थ त्यांना रुचत नसत, ते सर्व मीही त्यागीत असे।
भीष्म उवाच
