pṛṣṭhataḥ somasaṅkāśe udarke cābhrasannibhe | dakṣiṇāyāṃ tu raktābhe adhastān nīlamaṇḍale ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—त्याचा मागचा भाग चंद्रासारखा उजळ होता; वरचा भाग मेघसमूहासारखा भासत होता. दक्षिण बाजूस तो रक्ताभ दिसत होता आणि खाली नीलवर्ण मण्डलासारखा विस्तार होता.
भीष्म उवाच
