रक्तमाल्यं न धार्य स्याच्छुक्लं धार्य तु पण्डितै: । वर्जयित्वा तु कमलं तथा कुवलयं प्रभो

Transliteration

raktamālyaṃ na dhāryaṃ syāc chuklaṃ dhāryaṃ tu paṇḍitaiḥ | varjayitvā tu kamalaṃ tathā kuvalayaṃ prabho ||

Translation

प्रभो! पंडित पुरुषाने लाल फुलांची माळ न घालता श्वेत पुष्पांची माळ धारण करावी; परंतु कमळ आणि कुवलय यांना अपवाद आहे—ती लालसर असली तरी धारण करण्यात दोष नाही।
