भीष्म उवाच इत्युक्तवन्तं ब्रह्मा तु राजानं स भगीरथम्‌ । पूजयामास पूजा विधिदृष्टेन कर्मणा

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca ity uktavantaṃ brahmā tu rājānaṃ sa bhagīratham | pūjayāmāsa pūjā-vidhi-dṛṣṭena karmaṇā ||

Translation

भीष्म म्हणाले—राजन्! भगीरथाने असे म्हटल्यावर ब्रह्मदेवांनी शास्त्रोक्त विधीनुसार त्या नरेशाचा विधिवत् सत्कार केला.
