Dharma is shown as fidelity to a settled agreement (samaya) and disciplined conduct; when the Pāṇḍavas accept and uphold the rule properly, the sage is satisfied—ethical order is affirmed through keeping one’s word.
After the Pāṇḍavas formally accept the stipulated condition/time, Nārada, pleased with their righteous compliance, departs to his chosen destination, marking the close of his immediate involvement in the episode.
