समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः

कथेयमभिनिर्वत्ता भरतानां महात्मनाम् | विविधा: सम्भवा राज्ञामुक्ता: सम्भवपर्वणि,इसी पर्वमें क्षीरसागरके मन्थन और उच्चै:श्रवा घोड़ेके जन्मकी भी कथा है। परीक्षित्नन्दन राजा जनमेजयके सर्पयज्ञमें इन भरतवंशी महात्मा राजाओंकी कथा कही गयी है। सम्भवपर्वमें राजाओंके भिन्न-भिन्न प्रकारके जन्मसम्बन्धी वृत्तान्तोंका वर्णन है। इसीमें दूसरे शूरवीरों तथा महर्षि द्वैपषायनके जन्मकी कथा भी है। यहीं देवताओंके अंशावतरणकी कथा कही गयी है

ही कथा भरतवंशी महात्मा राजांबद्दल उद्भवली आहे. सम्भवपर्वात राजांच्या विविध प्रकारच्या जन्मवृत्तांतांचे वर्णन केले आहे.
