समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः
Samantapañcaka Narrative and the Measure of an Akṣauhiṇī
ततः पर्व परिज्ञेयमानुशासनिकं परम् | स्वर्गारोहणिकं चैव ततो भीष्मस्य धीमत:,इसके बाद धर्माधर्मका अनुशासन करनेवाला आनुशासनिकपर्व है, तदनन्तर बुद्धिमान् भीष्मजीका स्वर्गारोहणपर्व है
tataḥ parva parijñeyam ānuśāsanikaṁ param | svargārohaṇikaṁ caiva tato bhīṣmasya dhīmataḥ ||
यानंतर धर्म-अधर्माचे अनुशासन सांगणारा परम ‘आनुशासनिक पर्व’ जाणावा. त्यानंतर बुद्धिमान भीष्मांच्या स्वर्गारोहणाचे वर्णन करणारा ‘स्वर्गारोहणिक पर्व’ येतो.
