मैत्रेयागमन चात्र राज्ञश्नैवानुशासनम् । शापोत्सर्गश्न तेनैव राज्ञो दुर्योधनस्य च,मैत्रेय ऋषिने आकर राजा धृतराष्ट्रको उपदेश किया और उन्होंने ही राजा दुर्योधनको शाप दे दिया
maitreya-āgamanaṁ cātra rājñaś caivānuśāsanam | śāpotsargaś ca tenaiva rājño duryodhanasya ca ||
येथे मैत्रेय ऋषींचे आगमन आणि राजा धृतराष्ट्राला दिलेला त्यांचा उपदेश वर्णिला आहे; तसेच त्याच ऋषींनी राजा दुर्योधनाला दिलेला शापही सांगितला आहे.
