Adhyaya 22 — शिवानुग्रहः, ब्रह्मतपः, एकादशरुद्राः तथा प्राणतत्त्वम्
सूत उवाच अत्यन्तावनतौ दृष्ट्वा मधुपिङ्गायतेक्षणः प्रहृष्टवदनो ऽत्यर्थम् अभवत्सत्यकीर्तनात्
sūta uvāca atyantāvanatau dṛṣṭvā madhupiṅgāyatekṣaṇaḥ prahṛṣṭavadano 'tyartham abhavatsatyakīrtanāt
सूत म्हणाले—दोघेही अत्यंत नम्रतेने नतमस्तक झालेले पाहून, मधुपिंगळ नेत्रांचा तो प्रभू सत्यकीर्तनामुळे अत्यंत प्रसन्नमुख झाला।
