Concept: All agency of creation and protection belongs to Hari; worldly relational roles are secondary and can be mistaken when absolutized.

Vedantic Theme: Īśvara-kartṛtva (God as ultimate cause) and śaraṇāgati; subordination of vyāvahārika relations to pāramārthika dependence on Brahman/Īśvara.

Application: Cultivate discernment in attachments; honor elders appropriately while anchoring ultimate reliance and worship in Viṣṇu/Hari as sole protector.

Primary Rasa: shanta

Secondary Rasa: karuna

FAQs

This verse states that Hari alone creates all and is the certain protector, guiding the devotee to place ultimate refuge in Vishnu rather than in mistaken worldly identifications.

By correcting false notions and affirming Vishnu as creator and protector, it emphasizes inner clarity and bhakti as the stable support that carries one through fear, uncertainty, and the consequences of karma.

Maintain dharmic boundaries in relationships, avoid delusion in attachments, and cultivate steady devotion—seeing the divine as the ultimate shelter while acting ethically in worldly roles.
