कृतद्युतिरजानन्ती सपत्नीनामघं महत् । सुप्त एवेति सञ्चिन्त्य निरीक्ष्य व्यचरद्गृहे ॥ ४४ ॥
kṛtadyutir ajānantī sapatnīnām aghaṁ mahat supta eveti sañcintya nirīkṣya vyacarad gṛhe
सवतींच्या त्या मोठ्या पापाची जाणीव नसलेल्या कृतद्युतीने ‘मुलगा गाढ झोपला आहे’ असे समजून त्याला पाहत घरात वावरले; तो मृत आहे हे तिला कळले नाही।
