तं दृष्ट्वा जलदश्यामं पीतकौशेयवाससम् । प्रलम्बबाहुं ताम्राक्षं सुस्मितं रुचिराननम् ॥ २७ ॥ स्वलङ्कृतमुखाम्भोजं नीलवक्रालकालिभि: । कृष्णं मत्वा स्त्रियो ह्रीता निलिल्युस्तत्र तत्र ह ॥ २८ ॥
taṁ dṛṣṭvā jalada-śyāmaṁ pīta-kauśeya-vāsasam pralamba-bāhuṁ tāmrākṣaṁ su-smitaṁ rucirānanam
मेघश्याम वर्ण, पिवळे रेशमी वस्त्र, लांब भुजा, तांबूस नेत्र आणि सुमधुर हास्याने शोभणारे रम्य मुख पाहून, अलंकारांनी सजलेले कमलमुख व घन निळे वळणदार केश पाहून स्त्रिया त्याला श्रीकृष्ण समजल्या; लज्जित होऊन त्या इथे-तिथे लपल्या।
