The Brāhmaṇas’ Wives Blessed (Brāhmaṇa-patnī-prasāda) — Ritualism Humbled by Bhakti
ननु स्वार्थविमूढानां प्रमत्तानां गृहेहया । अहो न: स्मारयामास गोपवाक्यै: सतां गति: ॥ ४५ ॥
nanu svārtha-vimūḍhānāṁ pramattānāṁ gṛhehayā aho naḥ smārayām āsa gopa-vākyaiḥ satāṁ gatiḥ
खरेच, गृहव्यवहाराच्या मोहाने आम्ही स्वार्थात विमूढ व प्रमत्त होऊन जीवनाच्या परम ध्येयापासून पूर्णपणे दूर गेलो होतो. पण पाहा, या साध्या गोपबालांच्या वचनांनी भगवंतांनी आम्हाला सत्पुरुषांची परम गती स्मरवली।
