Kṛṣṇa Swallows the Forest Fire (Dāvāgni-līlā) and Restores the Herd
तेऽपश्यन्त: पशून् गोपा: कृष्णरामादयस्तदा । जातानुतापा न विदुर्विचिन्वन्तो गवां गतिम् ॥ ३ ॥
te ’paśyantaḥ paśūn gopāḥ kṛṣṇa-rāmādayas tadā jātānutāpā na vidur vicinvanto gavāṁ gatim
गायी दिसेनाशा झाल्यावर कृष्ण, बलराम व गोपबालकांना आपल्या दुर्लक्षाचा अचानक पश्चात्ताप झाला. ते सर्वत्र शोधू लागले, पण गायी कुठे गेल्या हे कळेना।
