सेदिरुग्रा व्यृऽद्धिरार्तिश्चानपवाचना। श्रमस्तन्द्रीश्च मोहश्च तैरमूनभि दधामि सर्वान्

IAST Transliteration

sedíḥ ugrā́ vy-ṛ́ddhir ārtíś cānapavācanā́ | śrámas tandrī́ś ca móhaś ca táir amū́n abhí dadhāmi sárvān

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Fierce torpor, perverse increase, distress that is not to be averted—weariness, and drowsiness, and delusion: with these I set those yonder all about.

Translation

उग्र स्तंभ (जडत्व), विकृत वाढ, आणि टाळता न येणारी आर्ति (पीडा); श्रम, तंद्रा व मोह—यांनी मी त्यांना सर्व बाजूंनी घेरून स्थापन करतो.
