यज्ञः यदद्य त्वा प्रयति यज्ञे अस्मिन् होतश्चिकित्वन्नवृणीमहीह। ध्रुवमयो ध्रुवमुता शविष्ठ प्रविद्वान् यज्ञमुप याहि सोमम्
yajñáḥ yád adyá tvā́ prayatí yajñé asmín hótaś cikitván navṛṇīmahíha | dhruvámayo dhruvám utā́ śaviṣṭha pravidvā́n yajñám úpa yāhi sómam
When, today, the sacrifice sets forth for thee in this our sacrifice, O Hotar, wise of purpose, we choose thee here. Of sure advance, sure (in effect), yea, O mightiest, foreknowing—come thou near unto the sacrifice, O Soma.
आज, या आमच्या यज्ञात तुझ्यासाठी यज्ञ जेव्हा प्रवृत्त होतो, हे होतृ—उद्देश जाणणाऱ्या, आम्ही तुला इथेच वरण करतो. हे सोम, ध्रुव-गामी, ध्रुव-फलद, होय, हे परम-शक्तिमान, पूर्वविद्—यज्ञाजवळ ये.
