Sukta 59
औषधिः। अनडुद्भ्यस्त्वं प्रथमं धेनुभ्यस्त्वमरुन्धति । अधेनवे वयसे शर्म यच्छ चतुष्पदे
anaḍúdbhyaḥ tváṃ prathamáṃ dhenúbhyaḥ tvám arundhatī́ | adhénave váyase śárma yaccha catúṣpade
For the oxen thou art first; for the milch-cows thou, O Arundhatī. Grant shelter to the non-milking one, to the young, to the four-footed herd.
हे औषधी! बैलांसाठी तू प्रथम आहेस; दुभत्या गायींसाठी तू—हे अरुंधती—आहेस. न दुभणाऱ्या, तरुण वयाच्या, आणि चतुष्पद पशुधनाला तू आश्रय व संरक्षण दे.
