Sukta 141
लोहितेन स्वधितिना मिथुनं कर्णयोः कृधि । अकर्तामश्विना लक्ष्म तदस्तु प्रजया बहु
lóhitena svádhitinā mithunáṃ kárṇayoh kr̥dhí | ákartām aśvínā lákṣma tád astu prajáyā bahú ||
With the red-hued axe make thou a paired mark upon the ears. Let the Aśvins fashion the sign: so be it—abundant in progeny.
लोहितवर्ण स्वधिती (कुऱ्हाड) घेऊन दोन्ही कानांवर युग्म-चिन्ह कर. अश्विनौ तो लक्ष्म-चिन्ह घडवोत; तसेच होवो—प्रजेत बहुल, संततीसमृद्ध.
