AV 6.130 हे संक्षिप्त आथर्वण प्रेम-मंत्र आहे. यात अप्सरांच्या आणि देवांच्या माध्यमातून स्मर (काम) ‘पाठविला’ जातो, ज्यामुळे इच्छित व्यक्ती प्रेमव्याधी, अस्वस्थ व तळमळत्या अवस्थेत साधकासाठी उत्कट विरहाने जळू लागते. या सूक्तात वशीकरणासोबत प्रतिस्पर्ध्यांचे निरसनही आहे—लक्ष्याने फक्त साधकाचेच स्मरण करावे आणि इतर सर्वांना विसरावे, अशी आज्ञा दिली आहे. याची प्रभावशक्ती दैवी प्रेषण म्हणून मांडली आहे: देव स्मराला पुढे हाकतात, तर मरुत आणि अग्नी लक्ष्याच्या अंतःकरणातील उन्माद अधिक तीव्र करतात.

स्मर (Smara)। हा रथजितांचा, रथजितेयींचा, अप्सरांचा स्मर आहे. हे देवांनो, स्मराला पुढे धाडा; तो/ती माझ्यामागे व्याकुळ होवो, विरहाने जळो.
