Sukta 1

इन्द्रः सेनां मोहयतु मरुतो घ्नन्त्वोजसा । चक्षूंस्यग्निरा दत्तां पुनरेतु पराजिता

índraḥ sénāṃ moháyatu marúto ghnántv ójasā | cákṣūṃsy agnír ā́ dattā́ṃ púnar etu párājitā ||

Let Indra bewilder the hostile host; let the Maruts smite them down with might. Let Agni take away their eyes; and, routed, let (our advantage) come again unto us.

इंद्र शत्रूसेनेला मोहात पाडो; मरुत आपल्या बळाने त्यांना घायाळ करून पाडोत. अग्नी त्यांचे डोळे हिरावून घेओ; आणि ते पराजित होऊन, आमचा लाभ पुन्हा आमच्याकडे येवो.
