इन्द्र त्रिधातु शरणं त्रिवरूथं स्वस्तिमत्। छर्दिर्यच्छ मघवद्भ्यश्च मह्यं च यावया दिद्युमेभ्यः

IAST Transliteration

índra tridhā́tu śaráṇaṃ trívārūthaṃ svastímát | chárdir yaccha maghávadbhyas ca máhyaṃ ca yāváya didyumébhyaḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Indra, a refuge firmly set in threefold wise, a triple rampart rich in welfare—grant thou thy covering both to the bounteous and to me; drive thou away the flashing (foes) from us.

Translation

हे इंद्रा! तू त्रिधातु (तीन प्रकारे दृढ) शरण आहेस; त्रिवरूथ (त्रिस्तरी किल्ला/रक्षण-कवच) आणि स्वस्तिमय आहेस. हे मघवन्! उदार दात्यांनाही आणि मलाही तुझे छादन—रक्षण-कवच—दे; आणि आमच्यापासून दिद्युमान (चमकणारे/विजेसारखे) शत्रू दूर हाकलून दे.
