Sukta 26
केतुं कृण्वन्नकेतवे पेशो मर्या अपेशसे । समुषद्भिरजायथाः
ketúṃ kṛṇván aketáve péśo maryā́ apeśáse | sám uṣádbhir ajāyathāḥ
Making a signal for the signless, fair form for the unadorned, O youth—together with the Dawns thou wast brought to birth.
अकेत (ज्याला केतु/चिन्ह नाही) त्याच्यासाठी तू केतु निर्माण करतोस; अपेश (अलंकृतिहीन) याच्यासाठी तू शोभायमान रूप घडवतोस. हे मर्य (युवका), उषांसह तू जन्मास आला होतास.

Devata: Indra (addressed as maryā, ‘youth/hero’) in RV-style praise; dawn-association is epiphanic rather than Uṣas-devatā.
