स्कन्धावारनिवेशः स्कन्धावारप्रयाणम् बलव्यसनावस्कन्दकालरक्षणं कूटयुद्धविकल्पाः स्वसैन्योत्साहनं स्वबलान्यबलव्यायोगः युद्धभूमयः पत्त्यश्वरथहस्तिकर्माणि पक्षकक्षोरस्यानां बलाग्रतो व्यूहविभागः सारफल्गुबलविभागः पत्त्यश्वरथहस्तियुद्धानि दण्डभोगमण्डलासंहतव्यूहव्यूहनम् तस्य प्रतिव्यूहस्थापनं इति सांग्रामिकं दशममधिकरणम् ॥ कZ_०१.१.१२ ॥

Transliteration

skandhāvāra-niveśaḥ skandhāvāra-prayāṇam balavyasana-avaskanda-kāla-rakṣaṇaṃ kūṭa-yuddha-vikalpāḥ svasainyotsāhanaṃ svabala-anyabala-vyāyogaḥ yuddhabhūmayaḥ patty-aśva-ratha-hasti-karmāṇi pakṣa-kakṣa-urasyānāṃ balāgrato vyūha-vibhāgaḥ sāra-phalgubala-vibhāgaḥ patty-aśva-ratha-hasti-yuddhāni daṇḍa-bhoga-maṇḍalā-saṃhata-vyūha-vyūhanam tasya prativyūha-sthāpanaṃ iti sāṃgrāmikaṃ daśamam adhikaraṇam

Translation

दहावे अधिकरण ‘सांग्रामिक’ (युद्धविज्ञान)—छावणी (स्कंधावार) उभारणे व छावणीतून कूच; सैन्याच्या दुर्बलता/आपत्तीच्या काळाचे संरक्षण व अचानक धाडींविरुद्ध बचाव; कूट/अनियमित युद्धाचे पर्याय; स्वसैन्याचे उत्साहवर्धन; स्वतःच्या व शत्रूच्या बळाचे तुलनात्मक मूल्यमापन; युद्धभूमीचे प्रकार; पायदळ, अश्वदल, रथदल व हत्ती-दल यांची कामे; अग्रभागी व्यूहाचे पंख, कक्ष (फ्लँक) व मध्य (उरस्य) असे विभाजन; सार (मुख्य) व फल्गु (सहायक) बळाचे विभाजन; या दलांद्वारे युद्धाचे संचालन; दण्ड, भोग, मण्डल, संहत इ. संयुक्त व्यूहांची रचना; आणि त्यांच्याविरुद्ध प्रतिव्यूह उभारणे।
