तदुभयं तापनिकषाभ्यां निह्शब्दोल्लेखनाभ्यां वा विद्यात् ॥ कZ_०२.१४.३२ ॥

Transliteration

tad ubhayaṃ tāpanikaṣābhyāṃ nihśabdollekhanābhyāṃ vā vidyāt

Translation

त्या दोन्ही प्रकारांची ओळख ताप देऊन व निकष (टचस्टोन)ने, किंवा आवाज न करता खरवडणे व कोरणे/रेषांकन यांच्या चाचणीने करावी.
