Chapter 139 — षष्टिसंवत्सराः (The Sixty Years)
युद्धजयार्णवातील ज्योतिषविषयक भागात ईश्वर षष्टि-संवत्सरचक्र राजधर्म व समाजहितासाठी शुभ-अशुभ फल ठरविण्याचे साधन म्हणून सांगतो। प्रभव, विभव, प्रजापति, अङ्गिरा, ईश्वर, प्रमाथी, विक्रम, दुर्मुख, हेमलम्ब, विलम्ब इत्यादी नामांकित वर्षे यज्ञसमृद्धी, प्रजासुख, पीकउत्पन्न, पर्जन्य (मध्यम/अतिवृष्टी), आरोग्य-रोग, धनहानी, सामाजिक कठोरता आणि विजयलक्षणे यांच्याशी जोडली आहेत। रक्तासारखा स्राव, रक्तिम डोळे, तांबूस आकाश, उफाळलेले पाणी तसेच ‘सिद्धार्थ/रौद्र/दुर्मति/दुन्दुभि’ अशा अवस्था काळाशी निगडित निमित्ते मानून धोरण, सैन्यसावधता व लोककल्याण उपाय ठरवावेत असे निर्देश आहेत। हा अध्याय राज्योपयोगी संक्षिप्त ज्योतिष-हस्तपुस्तिका असून, कालाला धर्म, समृद्धी व रणनीतिक यशासाठी कृतीयोग्य माहिती मानले आहे।
