तं कर्षन्तं नरवरं समभ्येत्य शतक्रतुः प्रोवाच राजन् किमिदं भवान् कर्तुमिहोद्यतः
taṃ karṣantaṃ naravaraṃ samabhyetya śatakratuḥ provāca rājan kimidaṃ bhavān kartumihodyataḥ
ഉഴുതുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ആ നരശ്രേഷ്ഠനെ കണ്ട ശതക്രതു (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) സമീപിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞു— “രാജാവേ, നിങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെ എന്ത് ചെയ്യാൻ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നു?”
