तत्तु जन्मान्तराभावात्पुंसो नैवास्ति कर्हिचित् । स्वप्नदेहो यथाध्यस्तस्तथैवायं हि देहकः ॥

तत् । तु । जन्म-अन्तर-अभावात् । पुंसः । न । एव । अस्ति । कर्हिचित् । स्वप्न-देहः । यथा । अध्यस्तः । तथा । एव । अयम् । हि । देहकः ॥

IAST Transliteration

tat tu janmāntarābhāvāt puṃso naivāsti karhicit | svapnadeho yathādhyastas tathaivāyaṃ hi dehakaḥ ||

Translation

എന്നാൽ ജന്മാന്തരത്തിന്റെ അഭാവം കൊണ്ടു മനുഷ്യനു അത് (കഥിത പ്രാരബ്ധം) ഒരിക്കലും ഇല്ല. സ്വപ്നദേഹം എങ്ങനെ അധ്യാസിതമാണോ, അതുപോലെ തന്നെയാണ് ഇവിടെ ഈ ദേഹവും അധ്യാസിതം.

Academic Translation

But that (so-called prārabdha) does not ever exist for a person, because there is no other birth (in truth). As the dream-body is superimposed, so indeed is this body here.
