अगस्त्य उवाच । इति शप्ता रुषा तेन मुनिना सा शुभेक्षणा । उवाच वनिता भूत्वा प्रांजलिर्मुनिमादरात्
agastya uvāca | iti śaptā ruṣā tena muninā sā śubhekṣaṇā | uvāca vanitā bhūtvā prāṃjalirmunimādarāt
അഗസ്ത്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ആ മുനിയുടെ ക്രോധശാപത്താൽ ശുഭനയനയായ അവൾ മനുഷ്യസ്ത്രീരൂപം ധരിച്ചു. പിന്നെ കൈകൂപ്പി ആദരപൂർവ്വം മുനിയെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തു.
