श्रीराम उवाच । शृणु सीते प्रवक्ष्यामि माहात्म्यं भुवि यादृशम् । त्वत्कुण्डस्यास्य सुभगे त्वत्प्रीत्या कथयाम्यहम्

ശ്രീരാമൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ സീതേ! കേൾക്കുക; ഭൂമിയിൽ നിന്റെ ഈ കുണ്ഡത്തിനുള്ള മഹാത്മ്യം എങ്ങനെയാണോ അതു ഞാൻ പ്രസ്താവിക്കും. ഹേ സुभഗേ! നിന്റെ പ്രീതിക്കായി ഞാൻ ഇതു പറയുന്നു.
