तस्मिन्नवसरे शंभुः सर्वदेवगणैः सह । तुष्टाव प्रयतो भूत्वा विष्णुं जिष्णुं सुरद्विषाम्
tasminnavasare śaṃbhuḥ sarvadevagaṇaiḥ saha | tuṣṭāva prayato bhūtvā viṣṇuṃ jiṣṇuṃ suradviṣām
ആ സമയത്ത് ശംഭു സർവ്വദേവഗണങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം, ഏകാഗ്രനായി ഭക്തിയോടെ വിഷ്ണുവിനെ സ്തുതിച്ചു—ദേവശത്രുക്കളെ ജയിക്കുന്ന അജേയ ജിഷ്ണുവിനെ।
