ഒരു വശത്ത് എല്ലാ തീർത്ഥങ്ങളും നാനാവിധ കർമഫലങ്ങളും ഉണ്ട്; എങ്കിലും സരയൂ–ഘർഘരയിൽ നിന്നുയർന്ന ഈ സംഗമം അതിലുമധികം ശ്രേഷ്ഠമാകുന്നു।
