तिलोदकीति विख्याता पुण्यतोया सदा नदी । संगमादन्यतो यस्यां तिलोदक्यां शुचिव्रतः । स्नातो विमुच्यते पापैः सप्तजन्मार्जितैरपि

Transliteration

tilodakīti vikhyātā puṇyatoyā sadā nadī | saṃgamādanyato yasyāṃ tilodakyāṃ śucivrataḥ | snāto vimucyate pāpaiḥ saptajanmārjitairapi

Translation

‘തിലോദകീ’ എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ഈ നദി സദാ പുണ്യജലസമ്പന്നമാണ്. ആ തിലോദകിയിൽ—സംഗമസ്ഥലം ഒഴികെ മറ്റിടത്ത്—ശുചിവ്രതൻ സ്നാനം ചെയ്താൽ ഏഴ് ജന്മങ്ങളിൽ സമ്പാദിച്ച പാപങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും പോലും വിമുക്തനാകും.
