अगस्त्य उवाच । शृणु विप्र प्रवक्ष्यामि तीर्थमन्यदनुत्तमम् । स्वर्गद्वारमिति ख्यातं सर्वपापहरं सदा
agastya uvāca | śṛṇu vipra pravakṣyāmi tīrthamanyadanuttamam | svargadvāramiti khyātaṃ sarvapāpaharaṃ sadā
അഗസ്ത്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ വിപ്രാ, കേൾക്കുക; ഞാൻ മറ്റൊരു അനുത്തമ തീർത്ഥത്തെ വിവരിക്കുന്നു. അത് ‘സ്വർഗ്ഗദ്വാരം’ എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധം; സദാ സർവ്വപാപഹരമാണ്.
