त्यजंति प्राणिनः प्राणान्स्वर्गद्वारांतरे द्विज । प्रयांति परमं स्थानं विष्णोस्ते नात्र संशयः
tyajaṃti prāṇinaḥ prāṇānsvargadvārāṃtare dvija | prayāṃti paramaṃ sthānaṃ viṣṇoste nātra saṃśayaḥ
ഹേ ദ്വിജ! സ്വർഗ്ഗദ്വാരത്തിന്റെ അന്തർപരിധിയിൽ പ്രാണൻ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ജീവികൾ വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ പരമസ്ഥാനത്തെ പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു—ഇതിൽ സംശയമില്ല.
