अमरोऽसौ हराज्जातः शूले प्रोतः सुदारुणे । शूलस्थस्तु स्तुतिं चक्रे तस्य तुष्टो महेश्वरः
amaro'sau harājjātaḥ śūle protaḥ sudāruṇe | śūlasthastu stutiṃ cakre tasya tuṣṭo maheśvaraḥ
അവൻ ഹരനിൽ നിന്നു ജനിച്ച് ‘അമരൻ’ ആയി; അത്യന്തം ഭയങ്കരമായ ശൂലത്തിൽ കുത്തിക്കൊള്ളപ്പെട്ടു. ശൂലസ്ഥനായിട്ടും സ്തുതി ചെയ്തു; അതിനാൽ മഹേശ്വരൻ പ്രസന്നനായി.
