महादेवनियोगेन पितामहमुपस्थिता । तामाह भगवान्ब्रह्मा दक्षस्य दुहिता भव
mahādevaniyogena pitāmahamupasthitā | tāmāha bhagavānbrahmā dakṣasya duhitā bhava
മഹാദേവന്റെ നിയോഗത്താൽ അവൾ പിതാമഹനായ ബ്രഹ്മാവിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ എത്തി. അപ്പോൾ ഭഗവാൻ ബ്രഹ്മാവ് അവളോട്— “ദക്ഷന്റെ പുത്രിയായി ഭവിക്ക” എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
